Carly Simon's, "Nobody Does It Better"
The Inappropriate Lyrics:
I wasn't looking, but somehow you found me,
I tried to hide from your love light.
But like heaven above me, the spy who loved me,
Keeping all my secrets safe tonight.
Why They're Inappropriate:
Ok, so it's kinda compulsory to have the film title for any James Bond flick in the soundtrack, but this one just gets stuck in the middle for no apparent reason. Make me giggle every time. Great tune though!

Carly Simon's, "You're So Vain"
The Inappropriate Lyrics:
And all the girls dreamed that they'd be your partner,
They'd be your partner, and,
You're so vain
Why They're Inappropriate:
These lines, taken at face value, don't fit the song's message at all. What she must mean to be saying is that the addressee was fancying that all the girls were dreaming of being his partner. But these lines, as stated, would be highly flattering to the addressee, rather than contributing to a case for his being 'so vain'.

Carly Simon's, "You're So Vain"
The Inappropriate Lyrics:
I had some dreams, they were clouds in my coffee
Why They're Inappropriate:
What does this have to do with the vain guy?
