Why They're Inappropriate:
At the time he recorded his 1989 remake of this song, Benny was 43. Yikes! Whenever they play this at my workplace, I always imagine Herbert the Pervert's voice singing it: "He's just thirteen years old, leave him alone, they said..." Benny's voice is already quite high-pitched so it's not that hard to imagine him as Herbert.

Sixteen years old? Statutory rape much? Jeez, how did anyone miss that one- since this song is on the radio constantly. If she's just 16, how does she know what love is yet?
