Beach Boys - The Greatest Hits Vol. 2: 20 More Good Vibrations album at Amazon.com
The Beach Boys', "Auld Lang Syne"
The Inappropriate Lyrics:
And if you happen to be listening to this album right now
Why They're Inappropriate:
At the end of the Beachboys Christmas album, there is a message spoken by Dennis Wilson while Auld Lang Syne is being sung. It includes the above phrase which is very redundant. If you are hearing these words, obviously you're listening to the album. He should have left this out, especially since he goofed up on the word "happen."

The Beach Boys', "Drive-In"
The Inappropriate Lyrics:
Remember, 'only you can prevent forest fires'
Why They're Inappropriate:
This is Smokey Bear's signature slogan. What does it have to do with drive-in movies??

The Beach Boys', "Help Me, Rhonda"
The Inappropriate Lyrics:
Well, since she put me down, I've had an odd feeling in my head.
I come in late at night, and in the morning I just stay in bed.
Why They're Inappropriate:
Yeah, Rhonda's gonna help you get her out of your heart after hearing words like that. Uh-huh. Sure. Unless Rhonda is really, really dumb. Maybe that's why he wishes 'they all could be California girls.'

The Beach Boys', "Kokomo"
The Inappropriate Lyrics:
Bodies in the sand
Why They're Inappropriate:
Uh, might want to go with "people" instead...Just think about it... after all, you don't want anyone listening to this song to assume anything disgusting.

The Beach Boys', "Kokomo"
The Inappropriate Lyrics:
There's a place called Kokomo
That's where you wanna go to get away from it all.
Why They're Inappropriate:
A tropical getaway--in the middle of the Corn Belt? It's probably supposed to be a made-up name, but the real Kokomo is in Indiana, not 'off the Florida Keys'. They should check their geography, for sure!!
