Why They're funny:
This is a sweet song about how someone is so great that every moment is important. And these are the 3rd and 4th lines of the song. Intrinsically rubbish then... This pathetic song writing is only excused by the fact that they released the version where Bernard Sumner can hardly get the words out for laughing at the poorness of the old toss they are foisting on the general public. Which makes it funnier.
