Why They're Dumb:
Did they mean to imply 'Say I look nice when I don't'? Even that would be asking for dishonesty, and leave us wondering 'what can one save to say when you do look nice? But as stated the line would mean 'Say I look nice when I'm not nice.' That sure wouldn't turn me on if anybody said it to me! That's asking for a license to be not nice and, adding insult to injury, asking for a compliment in response to not being nice!
