Aretha Franklin was known as someone who didn't drive. So, lyrics like "Jump right in, it ain't no sin/Take a ride in my machine", "We goin' ridin' on the freeway of love/in my pink Cadillac", and "Who knows how far our car can get/ Before you think your love slowin' on down" probably isn't talking about a road trip in her "pink Cadillac"
