Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

The recent partnership with Fiddlegirl has been synergistic, increasing the creative output of each, but it poses a new question to TT as inspirations come to him: Do them himself, or toss them at his partner? The agonizing internal struggle goes something like this: (OS here)

FG, or not FG: ask her suggestion?
Whether 'tis nobler not to make her suffer
The Ones and comments at outrageous poor pun
Or to join minds of violin's and turtle's
And by conjoining, coin them? To write of sheep
No more; and by her deep thoughts, may we mend
The fart-ache, and the thousand songs of c*cks
TT's done thereto. 'Tis a combination
Whose output: finely dished. That's why I leap --
I leap at chance to team: ay, no more: flub.
For with her AIR-y breath, what schemes may come
When we go shuffling off; she's quite a foil
And earns applause. Her, I respect;
But makes a parody much longer write.
For who would want to take the extra time
To co-write song, the e-mails consuming --
-- Our night to dispute lines; some more delay;
The messages of offense as song churns;
Impatience, bear it at so many "takes",
When he himself might his satires make
Without this talkin'? Who would Fiddles bear,
And want to fret, both of us: weary, strife?
But that her head of good ideas, a wealth
Of undiscover'd punn'ry; fine subs born;
New revels does she earn; guzzle our fill,
And makes us rather pair those skills we have
Than fly it solo, which I do much of.
Thus patience does grow powers for us both
And thus my native "shell" of isolation
Is pricked once more by the gal fast of thought;
Joint enterprises of great piss and groaning;
With this in mind, we once more jointly try
Till both find satisfaction. -- Look out, Whoa!
A rare idea, yeah! Nymph, for our parodies
Let's always be remember'd.

The collaborations have been melding into magnificent pieces of work. You guys are going to eventually evolve into a fiddle made from a shell!!! "Write On"!!!!

Don't play "second fiddle" to anyone! LOL!! What matters is that you guys work well as a team! I echo Mark's comment! Great parody tribute! 'Nuff said! 555's!

Very Shakespearean...witty and gritty

Another great one to add to the Shakespeare collection. You have captured a lot of the plusses and minuses of collaboration well.

Yet another fine example of our favorite ham bringing home the Bacon.

There are more things in heaven and earth, to ratio, Than are dreamt of in your philosophy. That Tom is mad, 'tis true; 'tis true 'tis pity; And pity 'tis 'tis true: a foolish figure; But fair, well, it: for I will use no fart. Not so, my words: for I am too much in the pun. (Be thou familiar, but by no means vulgar) Do not, as some ungracious masters do, Show me the steep and thorny way to leaven-- --AIR, like a puff'd-up reckless libertine, While, self, the patient path of partner-ance treads. And wrecks not your own reads.

:D xoxoxo, TT!

Mark Scotti: Well, that would be a Strad(dle) of Various materials, wouldn't it? :) Thanks, Mark!!!

Christie Marie M: Nope, no second fiddle here ... for one thing, I DK how to play the fiddle, and I'm still learning to play the Fiddle ;) Thanks for v/c!

AFW: Thanks much.

Timmy1000: Thanks -- have you tried collaborating, or just picturing it? Perceptive comment - *much* truth in this :)! Thanks for v/c.

metaphorsbwithu: Thank you for your Frank commentary. Or as they said back then, "Francis". :)

Yorrick's Hairdresser: I'll bet you don't get a lot of referral business, do you? :) ... lol at the last! Thanks for v/c, YH!

Susanna Viljanen: Nice comment. Thanks.

Fiddlegirl 1: See what happens when Professor Tommy Higgins doesn't stand over you while you have a mouthful of marbles and try to recite your comments? :)

Second Fiddle Girl: Though this be madness, yet there is method in 't.

How did the rest of the comment get cut off? Did Lorena bob it? Anyway:

LOL @ "to ratio" , and a fine write. OMG.... Writing parodies/poetry as comments.... getting more like TT all the time. What tomorrow, differential calculus? :)

They say that the longer couples stay together, the more they look like each other. Have you considered that downside? .... Thanks for sharing my shell. :D xoxoxo, and ditto it. (She was only the telegrapher's daughter, but she didit, didit, didit...)

Congratulations on the collaborations! From what Guy DiRito told me on InThe00s, collabos are a lot of work. 555, and keep up the good teamwork.

And a great collaboration it is.

DJ Blaze: It is indeed a lot of work. However, it's also true that some things are more enjoyable when done with a partner than alone. I can think of two right now, and one of them is parodying. :) Thanks for v/c!

John Barry: 'Tis lofty praise from a lofty source, indeed. Thanks, John.

That's a fair thought to lie between maids' legacy.
