Not sure whether these will grow in Kansas City. Will have to ask a gardener. But with global warming, we could see palm trees in a few more years. Armadillos are working their way north. Reminds me that the Easter Cantata will soon be here.
Lots of things can grow in lots of places. It depends On the hardiness ( winter cold) and the heat zone of your where you are and what the plant takes.
