three 5's--for pacing, well thought out, well done. I have only one thing to add--high ranking local officials have spoken out about FEMA delibrately blocking badly needed help and interferring with the local elected officials.

All I had to see was the title to know I'd get here and see that someone had 111'd it. To me, Katrina revealed ineptitude at all levels - local, state, and federal. Hopefully some lessons were learned, but knowing how government is, those lessons will be forgotten soon. Anyhoo - nice job.

Typical liberal parodist, who will not wait for the investigative report to let us know how much, if at all, FEMA was at fault. All the preliminary indications are that FEMA was little to blame, if any, with the city and state people being the real culprits. But, of course, all of the latter are liberal DemocRats, and a liberal parodist will cover up their crimes.
since the report is going to be written by the Republicans and not a bipartisan committe, I'm sure it will say exactly that.
