I also remember Chuck Heston being on Dame Edna Everage's show and being mocked something awful. Maybe the Dame was anti-guns?

Politics aside, Heston was a great actor. He even got to kiss Sophia Loren when he played El Cid. And let's not forget his "Saturday Night Live" sketch "The President Has Mustard On His Chin!" This is a fine tribute. Whoa unto thee, O Ones Guy, you damn dirty ape!
