I'm a school bus driver, and I got my inspiration the other morning when a 5 year old was singing "Jingle Bells" as I went down the twisty, windy country roads in the 20 degree weather. I started running the lyrics through my head until I could get somewhere to write them all down.
Dashing down the road
In a big yel-low school sleigh
Over the hills we go
Screaming all the way (SIT DOWN!)
Bells and cell phones ring
Kids and parents gripe
What fun it is to drive a bus
and make it home at night!
Oh Jingle Bells, the bus smells
Someone ripped a seat
People wonder how we do this job
Oh so easily
Jingle Bells, Billy fell
Running to the bus
What would all these children do
If it weren't for us?
