Original Song Title:

"We Wish You A Merry Christmas"

Original Performer:

Traditional

Parody Song Title:

"This (Bleep)mas Carol is ACLU-Approved"

Parody Written by:

Michael McVey

The Lyrics

This was inspired by radio talk show host Glenn Beck's "RamaHanuKwanzMas", a parody of "Holly Jolly Christmas" in which he bleeps out the first syllable of Christmas to mock the ACLU's overkill on separation of church and state.
We wish you a merry (bleep)mas,
We wish you a merry (bleep)mas,
We wish you a merry (bleep)mas,
And a God-free new year.

Good tidings we bring from the ACLU,
Good tidings for (bleep)mas and a God-free new year,

Now we bring you some litigation
Now we bring you some litigation
Now we bring you some litigation
We serve you right here!

We won't go until we sue you,
We won't go until we sue you,
We won't go until we sue you,
That's why we are here.

For we all love litigation,
For we all love litigation,
For we all love litigation,
We'll file suit right here.

We wish you a merry (bleep)mas,
We wish you a merry (bleep)mas,
We wish you a merry (bleep)mas,
We're the ACLU.
Merry (bleep)mas!

Anyone who didn't get this is apparently ignorant of satire. Screw the ACLU and have a Merry (bleep)mas, Atheists.

Parodies lose a little when they are this repetitive, but this one has a very good message, 5-5-4.

You know, without the ACLU we'd all be a bunch of ignorant, oppressed, bible-thumping holy-rollers. Have a little more respect for their hard work.

i'm starting a new chatroom / messageboard acro - gafsoh = get a f***ing sense of humor. this acro will be directed at people who take things WAY too seriously, like ike seems to be doing with this parody. not to get into a long diatribe, but the aclu does go too far sometimes, and this parody describes one of the ways it does. 5's for the parody, and a joe miller joke book for ike, tho it may be too late for him

Makes a good point. In California public schools 7th grade children are learning ISLAM as part of their curriculum. One school actually did role playing and afternoon Islam prayers. The ACLU's silence on this is deafening. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/619417/posts

Whoever wrote this is a freak, and needs to get an effing life!! GOD IS REAL AND HE LOVES U, so I'd start thinking about praying 4 forgiveness, or thinking about how HOT it's going to be when you GO TO HELL!! merry CHRISTmas!!

To None of your business!. . .Which was a cool Salt N Pepa song by the way. . .I think you missed something here, Michael McVey wrote this song as a sarcastic mockery of the ACLU because in his view-point the ACLU censors Christmas, he was not questioning God in this parody.
