Parody Song Title:

"Rudolf The Bengal Reindeer"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

The idea comes from a Christmas card of a tiger dressed in antlers and red nose, with the caption "Santa was beginning to suspect that Rudolf had something to do with the disappearance of the other reindeer. I imagine it sung to the tune of Rudolf the red nosed reindeer (last verse Santa clause is coming to town), with the accompaniment of indian instruments.
Rudolf the Bengal reindeer.

Rudolf the Bengal reindeer, had a very stripy coat.
And if you ever saw him, you would know it's not a joke.
All of the other reindeer,
Used to laugh and call him names.
They wouldn't let poor Rudolf,
Join in any reindeer games.

Then one foggy Christmas Eve,
Santa called to say,
Rudolf with your coat so bright,
Won't you pull my sleigh tonight.

Rudolf the Bengal reindeer
With a very shinny smile.
Knew that his luck was changing,
in a very little while.
Then how the reindeer worried
And they shouted out in fear
Rudolf the Bengal reindeer
He was getting much too near.

A sleigh with presents all aboard
A busy night ahead
Santa thought it very weird
How his Reindeer disappeared.

Rudolf the Bengal reindeer, had a very stripy coat.
And if you ever saw him, you would know its not a joke.
All of the elves and Santa
Knew that Rudolf couldn't stay
They wouldn't let poor Rudolf
They all chased him far away.

You'd better watch out
You'd better take care
You'd better not cry
I'm telling you why
Rudolf is coming to town
Grrrrrr.

Brings to mind "the flying tigers". Poached reindeer on toast! Yummy! I'm feline groovy!

Bizarre, but very entertaining. 555

You are missing a syllable in the Rudolph-is-coming line, but that one flaw is not enough to ruin a triple-5 vote: that Christmas-card image was certainly a great springboard for an equally off-the-wall parody.

Yes, it is kind of surreal, isn't it? Rudolf, oh what big teeth you have (hold on a sec, wrong story)

As long as you don't let the cat in the chimney I'm okey with this!
Guy - November 10, 2004 - Report this comment
The cat's in the chimney and the carcass strewn,
Nobody knew that this cat was attuned.
With the pack he'd flown, sad, he ate all them,
He got to murder them yeah, He had himself a good dine then.

LOL, Guy... I guess it would start like:
Saint Nick called up just the other day
He'd been flying with his reindeer in the usual way
But there were presents he had to give away
And he saw when he got back Dasher had gone astray
He'd started off with eight of 'em as off they flew
But now there's only two deer, yes now there's only two

Thanks for all the feedback. Glad you like it. I don't know if there are anymore where that came from, but it could be fun finding out.
