Back in the day, with the whole Clinton/Lewinski affair, i came up with a really bad parody of this song. Now, with dubya not backing down, i came up with a second part and thought, why not revamp the old one, too?

Ummm--the song is called the Battle Hymn of the Republic, at the risk of being overly picky. Pacing is off in several places ("Lewinsky" and the "pulling names" line would not scan no matter how hard I tried). Still, it's topical and funny; 4-5-5 from me!
I couldn't make that line work at first either but then it did. So umm 555 even though i'm a Bush supporter.
The first line's fine. As is the rest of the song.

I was able to get the pacing right. And I too am a Bush supporter but, always thinking from the other side, it is quite good. A triple-5 for your efforts!
Thanks, all. Like i said, i thought up the clinton part, well, back when clinton was president, so yeah, the pacing still sucks even though i tailored it a little. But I'm glad you enjoyed it anyway. (Battle Hymn of the Republic...duh! Bad memory, you know...)
