The Lyrics

Sing, (Start in to sing, you’ll have to swing,)
Then, you’ll swing, (Start in to sing, you’ll have to swing,)
That booking is bound to get you,

Oh, (Turn on the heat, then beat your feet,)
Don’t go slow, (Turn on the heat, then beat your feet,)
That booking is bound to get you,

Booking, booking, booking, booking, booking...mmm...

(female vocal)

Booking Steps,
Start in to sing, then soon, you’ll be swinging,
Booking Steps,
Turn on the heat, your feet will keep beating,

One, two, three,
It’s a new sensation, (dee-de-oh!)
You’ll agree,
It’s the step that’s putting the world on its feet,

Booking Steps,
Once you begin, you have to give in to
Booking Steps,
Get on your toes, ‘cause everyone knows that

If you’re not a dunce,
Oh, you’ll catch on at once,
Well, simple as ABC,
It’s the Booking Steps!

(vocal trio)

Booking Steps,
Start in to sing, then soon, you’ll be swinging,
Booking Steps,
Turn on the heat, your feet will keep beating,

One, two, three,
It’s a new sensation, (doo-doo-do-doo!)
You’ll agree,
It’s the step that’s putting the world on its feet,

Booking Steps,
Once you begin, you have to give in to
Booking Steps,
Get on your toes, ‘cause everyone knows that

If you’re not a dunce,
You’ll catch on at once,
Simple as ABC,
It’s the Booking Steps, whoa!

Booking Steps,
(instrumental call-back)
Booking Steps,
(instrumental call-back)

One, two, three,
It’s a new sensation, (doo-doo-do-doo!)
You’ll agree,
It’s the step that’s putting the world on its feet,

Booking Steps,
(instrumental call-back)
Booking Steps,
(instrumental call-back)

If you’re not a dunce,
You’ll catch on at once,
Simple as ABC,
It’s the Booking Steps, whoa!

Simple as the day is long!

Captain Obvious - April 10, 2024 - Report this comment
Oh joy, somehow the relentless G&GBF-Clone pounded out yet another reprise of his favorite hoboes-with-oboes tune onto the board. Ever consider using a non-mundane topic for subject matter? Oh wait, you’d still have to use brain capability/effort, and it’s obvious you’re fairly limited in that capacity. Never mind. If you’re going to rely on using the dullest subjects possible, start with a simpler approach than Booking.com. No “Sun Eclipse” reprise for the solar eclipse on Monday? Rest assured, the three minutes of totality offered during the eclipse had more insight and clarity than all 200 of your ‘tard anthem variants combined.

Dear Captain Obvious, all of this “Rhythm Steps” nonsense is getting really thin. We appreciate your support. Thanks.

^^^^^^ I'd love to have a psychologist explain what would motivate someone to not only continually post rehashed repeats, but also post their own comments afterward. G&GBF-CopyBot's mentor was at least honest enough to admit he had mental issues. The current 'tard posting this stuff seems to be fully aware that he's on a board filled with bright, creative people, but he is definitely not one of them. His glaring lack of wit and creativity set him apart as someone not even worthy of a participation trophy, hence, his only resort is to poop in the punchbowl and try and convince himself that what he does is clever in its own way.

Looks like ChuckyG has banned anything to do with, “Rhythm Steps”. Submitted the parody “Dr. Phil” on 4/14 and did not show the next day. Then I submitted “Big City Greens [Big/Greens Steps]” on 4/15 and did not show the next day. I still think it’s funny that the people who are posting relentless attacks against the song have never actually heard it themselves. And while we’re at it, maybe they wouldn’t write such nonsense if they actually took three minutes to listen to the song. I think we all know the odds of that happening.
