The Lyrics

Sing, (Start in to sing, you’ll have to swing,)
Then, you’ll swing, (Start in to sing, you’ll have to swing,)
That Random is bound to get you,

Oh, (Turn on the heat, then beat your feet,)
Don’t go slow, (Turn on the heat, then beat your feet,)
That Random is bound to get you,

Random, Random, Random, Random, Random...mmm...

(female vocal)

Random House,
Start in to sing, then soon, you’ll be swinging,
Random House,
Turn on the heat, your feet will keep beating,

One, two, three,
It’s a new sensation, (dee-de-oh!)
You’ll agree,
It’s the step that’s putting the world on its feet,

Random House,
Once you begin, you have to give in to
Random House,
Get on your toes, ‘cause everyone knows that

If you’re not a dunce,
Oh, you’ll catch on at once,
Well, simple as ABC,
It’s the Random House!

(vocal trio)

Random House,
Start in to sing, then soon, you’ll be swinging,
Random House,
Turn on the heat, your feet will keep beating,

One, two, three,
It’s a new sensation, (doo-doo-do-doo!)
You’ll agree,
It’s the step that’s putting the world on its feet,

Random House,
Once you begin, you have to give in to
Random House,
Get on your toes, ‘cause everyone knows that

If you’re not a dunce,
You’ll catch on at once,
Simple as ABC,
It’s the Random House, whoa!

Random House,
(instrumental call-back)
Random House,
(instrumental call-back)

One, two, three,
It’s a new sensation, (doo-doo-do-doo!)
You’ll agree,
It’s the step that’s putting the world on its feet,

Random House,
(instrumental call-back)
Random House,
(instrumental call-back)

If you’re not a dunce,
You’ll catch on at once,
Simple as ABC,
It’s the Random House, whoa!

Simple as the day is long!

Oh, thank goodness Bookman’s back with another rehash of his latest fixation. The obsession, while obviously irrelevant, does fit in with Creeping Irrelevance’s username and habit of using the dullest subjects possible. Why strive for excellence when you can use the same ancient song on a daily basis or continue a “legacy” that no one else knows or cares about. Simple as the day is long…

I did some checking for ya. Turns out Surging Irrelevance is not only available as a board name, it's far more accurate. You're welcome.
