"Holmes Won’t Remain"

The Lyrics

The grifter named Holmes
has now got to atone
for the scheming she did every day.
All her lying words
kept criminal deeds blurred.
Now it’s time for her to go away.

Holmes home won’t remain.
She’ll be steered to where all convicts stay.
She kept bad deeds blurred
by purring worthless words.
Now it’s time: behind bars that are gray.

It all came to light—what she did wasn’t right;
now her plight’s to sit tight behind bars.
On her victims she grazed, criminally unfazed.
Some suckers lauded her as a star.

Holmes now has to pay.
She’ll be steered to where all convicts stay.
In her lying words…
completely undeterred.
Now she has got to face judgment day.

’cause out she played her hand,
in the slammer she’ll land.
The court just didn’t buy her new scheme:
that it’s she who was wronged; court don’t go along.
On a prison plank she can now dream.

It has come, judgment day;
now she’s gotta pay.
The charade is no longer in play.
