The Lyrics

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away... a R2 unit was trying to find a Jedi...
Go, she told me, (Beep whistle click pip)
Find Obi-Wan, said she (Beep whistle click pip)
And so I had to go (Beep whistle click pip)
Annoyed C3PO (Beep whistle click pip
Whistle click pip
Whistle click pip)
I must find him, (Beep whistle click pip)
Obi-Wan, quick

I'm R2D2 (Beep whistle click pip)
I am a poor droid too (Beep whistle click pip)
I will do what I can (Beep whistle click pip)
To get to Obi-Wan (Beep whistle click pip
Whistle click pip
Whistle click pip)
Shall I play for Luke (Beep whistle click pip)
A quick Leia flic?

Luke, he fancied her (Beep whistle click pip)
Shame that she's his sister (Beep whistle click pip)
I played that bit again (Beep whistle click pip)
To get to Obi-Wan (Beep whistle click pip
Whistle click pip
Whistle click pip)
We went in his aircar (Beep whistle click pip)
Find Obi-Wan quick

I can vividly imagine Depeche Mode doing this one like this (with all the beeps and whistles) in the late 80s or early 90s, around the time for their "Blasphemous roumors".

Anyone who hears Depeche Mode doing this, or any other song, needs to have his ears or his imagination washed out. But this was good. What does KMFDM stand for, again?

This is probably the cutest SW parody I've read. Love the SFX.

Michael: Are you sure you´re not just saying this because of envy? Neither you, Rice or Guy have commented on my new Voyager parody "Inaprovaline". http://www.amiright.com/parody/80s/statusquo2.shtml. For the sake of my own self confidence I´m choosing to interpret that as having out-nerded any other Trekker here. ;-)
