Entry number 2 in my "25 Days of Christmas Parody" challenge. This time, I'm telling the story of a hunter looking for the ultimate trophy...Santa's reindeer. Also, since there are so many versions of this song, I decided to just go with two choruses and one verse...keep it simple.
Jingle bells, shotgun shells
Almost Christmas Day
Keep my eyes up to the skies
To look out for Santa’s sleigh
Jingle bells, dinner bell
So I’ll fire away
Reindeer meat is good to eat
Christmas magic makes it great!
Tracking through the snow
While they’re pulling Santa’s sleigh
On my roof they’ll go
They won’t get away
Camo orange and green
Sneaking real quiet
Antlers look great in my man cave
Hide keeps me warm at night
Vixen’s there, Cupid’s scared
Out here huntin’ game
Blitzen’s head’s above my bed
But that Dasher got away
World renowned reindeer scout
