Parody Song Title:
"Crazy Night in Hoboken"
The Lyrics
I went down to Hoboken
For a Yuletide bash at Stevens
Then a tall guy came up to me
Wanting to get even
I didn't want to start a fight
I told him it was uncool
Then I said, "I know your tricks"
"I know I can't be fooled"
Then he threw a few punches
My injuries were telling
I knew I had to catch the train
To head back toward my dwelling
But I lived 50 miles away
Near the Kittatinny Mountains
And there I was in Hoboken
Next to a water fountain
A kindly girl knew I was hurt
And full of frustration
She saw the blood stains on my shirt
And walked me to the station
She and I went through the streets
Toward Hudson Place together
Despite the rude wind's wild lament
And the 20-degree weather
When we reached the terminal
The wind was blowing stronger
I knew my train was due to leave
I couldn't take any longer
I said, "Thanks to you and your friend Paige"
"Without you, my life'd be over"
But now I'm running in frantic rage
To catch the train toward Dover
Toward the platform I ran fast
Past Subway and Sbarro
Then I caught my train at last
And thought about tomorrow
I know I'll have to come through here
For my internship on Monday
And when all my friends ask me
I'll say it really wasn't a fun day
