One day we were walking down a very shady glen,

On the steep, steep side o Ben Loamin,

Where in the purple hue, we were chased by a heilan coo!

An the midges were attacking in swarms

The locals they were watching as we went for a swim,

And they laughed as the water was freezing,

But ye should have seen us swim, when we saw this mighty fin,

It was jaws in the waters o loch lomond.

On we did trek wi our tartan shirts and shorts,

The nettles on our legs, they were stinging,

We were humming Brig -a -doon, when the rain came pouring doon,

On the bonnie bonnie banks o Loch lomond.

It was time for going home, to the shops we did roam,

For some souveniers o bonnie Scotland,

We bought cans o Scottish rain and a dozen Haggis tarts,

And twenty sets of teeth off a Nessie.
