Parody Song Title:

"Ring Around the Russkies"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

The Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962...
Ring around the Russkies
By the US Navy
Missiles, missiles
Cuba, inbound

Ring around the Russkies
Panicked 13 long days
Recon, recon
U-2 shot down

Ring around the Russkies
Khrushchev was blustering
Showdown, showdown!
THE REDS BACKED DOWN!!!

SS-4s then... shipped back out

SS-4 was Soviet R-12 IRBM. Four sites protected by SA-2 missiles, one of which shot down a U-2.

Eight sets of straight 5s for breaking news. I wish I could give more. Eventually, I detected and smart-jammed multiple S-band SA-2 acquisition radars, and thereby foiled the L-band missile guidance radars. Intel courtesy Israel. The U-2 victim was bad at jinking.

DFs on Track-While-Scan radars now done by measuring differential phase shift at wing antennae, not signal strength.

GP, Russians still invested in low band VHF to defeat VLO in Raleigh, Resonate, and Optical scanning with more powerful and focased X-band for more modern systems. F-22, F-35, and B-2 all vunerable to detection. Any Su-30/35 with Zhuk can pick them up along with ground based assortment of concentrated search and track radars, including anti-stealth cellular passed on to the S-300 through S-500 missile systems like the ones Russia is shipping to Iran for defense of their reactor. Germans proposed belt radar for future EADS fighter and a field shifter to deflect hostile radars as well as frequency pulse diffusor instead of stealth absorption RAM and RAS. With an upper fuselage mated to a MLB, I guess this makes sense...

Also, stealth doesn't work against all radars. Captain Matt Byrd flying F-117 "Habu II" was painted in ODS by a SA-3 system and fired upon. He was definately seen and had to dodge two missiles. The F-117 was reported by the USAF as having a 75% efficiency rate of striking targets based on hits and misses... but add no-drops and the rating fell to just 50%. In low cloud weather or heavy smoke, stealth is also nullified. When opening bomb bay doors, all US stealth aircraft are vulnerable to radar. And all that fly in daylight can be visually acquired by Su-27 family, MiG-29 family, as well as Chinese J- series. A dangerous Iraqi tactic used against all coalition aircraft is overlapping unfocused pinwheel AAA. Lots of coalition aircraft suffered from such strikes and had to return to base. Many Iraqi targets were thus spared. The Russian new MiG-41 doesn't even need stealth for its mission. It will be able to sustain Mach 4.3 at over 100,000 ft and carry hypersonic missiles. If you can't reach it in time, it wins.

GP, btw, is funny...when thinking of Gary Powers ( in reality Francis Gary Powers) who was shot down in a U-2 spying over Russia. In my parody above, however, it would be Rudolf Anderson who lost his life doing the same job over Cuba.

nice job taking innocent children's rhymes and making them about war! ...then again look up the meaning of the original "Ring Around The Rosie" I think this may actually be more innocent! 5's

Thanks Jon for the rating and info... which is indeed more morbid than my war parody. The OS concerns the Plague and death!!!

First pic of Chinese Divine Eagle hunting drone with 7 radars and 2 Satcoms!!! It has 3x X/UHF ATMI AESA, 2x X/UHF ATMI/SAR/GTMI, and 2x unknown: http://www.popsci.com/sites/popsci.com/files/styles/medium_1x_/public/plaaf_uav_bams-like_divine_eagle_-_first_real_26.5.15_-_2.jpg?itok=sOPo9gMb
