The Lyrics

Not meant to be funny at all- but accurate... a tragedy :(
There was a student that had some guns,
And “Joker” was his claim-o
J-O-K-E-R
J-O-K-E-R
J-O-K-E-R
And “Joker” was his claim-o

Went to “Dark Knight Rises“ to have fun,
And “Joker” was his claim-o
(clap)-O-K-E-R
(clap)-O-K-E-R
(clap)-O-K-E-R
And “Joker” was his claim-o

He brought lots of ammunition,
And “Joker” was his claim-o
(clap)-(clap)-K-E-R
(clap)-(clap)-K-E-R
(clap)-(clap)-K-E-R
And “Joker” was his claim-o

Clad in black for armed confrontation,
And “Joker” was his claim-o
(clap)-(clap)-(clap)-E-R
(clap)-(clap)-(clap)-E-R
(clap)-(clap)-(clap)-E-R
And “Joker” was his claim-o

Two Glocks, AR-15, and shotgun,
And “Joker” was his claim-o
(clap)-(clap)-(clap)-(clap)-R
(clap)-(clap)-(clap)-(clap)-R
(clap)-(clap)-(clap)-(clap)-R
And “Joker” was his claim-o

Opened up to kill movie patrons,
And “Joker” was his claim-o
(clap)-(clap)-(clap)-(clap)-(clap)
(clap)-(clap)-(clap)-(clap)-(clap)
(clap)-(clap)-(clap)-(clap)-(clap)
And terror was his game-Oh… No!!!

[Alternate last lines of last verse]

Happened in Colorado…

Apartment rigged (as) inferno…

Question: was he insane? No!

A dark Columbine shadow

It's utterly disturbing how a guy can just wander into a theater and kill 12 people in cold blood. This wasn't political this was just some f*cked up kid who just wanted to see the world burn. We need a real Batman in trying times like these.

I agree, this tragedy was no "joke". Isn't it awful how people who have total control over their minds, unlike ones like me who do not, make such choices? :-( Oh well, It's like I say, bring corruption down, and others will pass it around. But great parody Rob! Right now I am trying to figure out some lyrics to a Whitney Houston song, but at the moment am sick with a stomach virus. :-( But, this is a "dynamic" parody, and even though there really is no humor about the story, I still can give a 555 for it. :-)

DISCLAIMER: 7 of my 9 parodies today deal with the "Dark Knight Massacre" of 6/20 and are NOT meant to be funny at all. I chose to express myself by providing all aspects of the incident including HEROES, the gunman, and THE TRAGEDY so similar to Columbine. Please take that into consideration when rating. I suspected that few would tackle this topic, but if nobody else wants to, I have it covered ~ Rob Arndt

Not bad, not bad. I was thinking how the booby-trapped apartment was really Joker-like and, if it had happened in the movies rather than in real life, would've been macabrely funny. I'm not sure of the pacing of the first line of your verses; the syllables seem to fall off-stress and there may be one syllable too many in some. Good job all around. 4-5-5. Prayers to the victims and their families and friends, and to the shooter's family as well. If you have a heart and mind to, pray for that poor deranged guy as well.
