The Lyrics

Americans, Americans,
We're proud to be today
Ten years have passed
Since those bad blasts
So far, we're still okay..
Americans, Americans,
We're proud of this great name
Our faith is strong, here we belong,
Those who denounce are lame..

Short grows the list of terrorists,
Osama's bit the dust
Thanks, Navy Seals,
For your ideals,
Your toughness, and your crust,
Americans, Americans
Together, we all stand
With flags on high, willing to die
Defending this great land..

Let's not forget our heritage,
Forefathers, brave and dear
Without whose soul and sacrifice,
None of us would be here..
Americans, Americans,
Our freedoms shall not cease
Let's all unite, believe in right,
And pray for total peace..

So many died on this sad day
September..Eleven
Two Towers tumbled, crushed away
Who don't remember when?..
Americans, Americans,
We've faced the dark and dim
In times of grieve, we roll our sleeve,
Believe in US, and Him..

In times of grieve, we roll our sleeve,
Believe in US, and Him..

Ver noble and stuff. I will say I don't know what to think of 9/11 anymore. I mean I honor the lives of those men and women who worked so selflessly to do all they could to help those hurt by these terrible events, but I just feel America has gone overboard with........well........remembering now. I really hate the fact that they gave the day the name, "Patriot Day." I don't see why they had to name the day at all, to be honest. If they were going to name it anything, "Day of Rememberance" would have sat fine with me. "Patriot Day" is just unfitting to me...

Real nice, well intended, well done. However, we still have to deal with lots of domestic terrorism - religious fanatics, KKK, corporate thieves, haters, etc. Yes I agree we need to believe in US and Him, but I hope that "Him" you referred to isn't Dumbya... ; )

Now, that' s what makes me proud to be American. Will never forget the victims of 9/11 and so glad it fell on a Sunday, so we could pray for those victims of that tragic event. The priest in our church told a great sermon of that event and I felt my eyes water. Well, anyways, inspiring parody you wrote and great as always. 555.

I love it... I remember 9/11 too well, and was disgusted with my neighbors for celebrating it Fourth of July-style this year. I think Patriot Day has to do with the Patriot Act... 5s.
