The Lyrics

In his mansion, proud, he sits,
Counting money, smelling, too
Now and then, he pumps his pomp a puff of spray
Tosses darts at Rosie's pic..planning feuds to start anew
Since he'll occupy the White House, anyday...

Trump, Trump, Trump, The Donald's running,
Running for the president
Once he's in, DC will flow like his great Apprentice show
He'll change Congress to a Tower and charge rent

For big battles, getting set..in the mirror making scowls
Sucking pickles to curl down his lower lip
Of the outcome he is sure, with no plans for throwing towels
In his back, renews his mean computer chip...

Trump, Trump, Trump, The Donald's running,
Running for the president
Once he's in, DC will flow just like his Apprentice show
He'll change Congress to a Tower and charge rent

He is at the gym each day, working out by shaking hands,
Kissing little baby dolls and smiling wide
Vict'ry gleams within his eyes, on prosperity he stands
If the country goes bankrupt he'll sub-divide

Trump, Trump, Trump, The Donald's running,
It's all planned, his cabinet
They'll be old Apprentice stars waiting in their limo'd cars,
And each week, one will be fired, you can bet

Donald Trump is the next election's Ross Perot. Populist appeal, some good ideas, but just enough paranoia and lunacy to sabotage the whole effort.

AFW - Wonderful job. I fear Donald is the final "Trump" of Judgment Day. ;D

AFW, that was LOL funny. The Congress/Tower line was inspired, and the whole real estate angle fit flawlessly.

Wild Child JIN - April 21, 2011 - Report this comment
So as not to cause any confusion, "blow" in this case, means "leave" ;-)

Since I just submitted a "Trump Trump Trump," that was a parody of the same song, I had to check out this one and compare it to my own. Great rhymes, funny zingers, good job of matching the original song's pace and meter. I'm proud of my own version, but yours is at least as good and I gave you straight 5s. Off to check out the other "Trump Trump Trump," not particularly surprised that other authors drew inspiration from the chanting Trumpistas and "Tramp Tramp Tram the Boys Are Marching."
