Thanks and kudos to my friends from The Shire...Merry and Pippin. Until their excellent parody yesterday, I had forgotten about the most significant event event in human history - the "updating" of the Zodiac! I leave it to others here to give us the definitive statement on the subject (perhaps "Born Under The WRONG Sign"). I'll make a more modest observation. BTW, please tell Kris Kristofferson that he has to change the lyrics to one of his songs. The Holy Child of Bethlehem is now a Sagittarius! ;D


The thirteenth sign of Zodiac - is causing a psychic fuss.
To twelve that's true add one that's new - make room for O-phi-u-chus!
Astrologers will panic - as sun-moon-planets shine,
And pick-up schmoes in bars won't know - the answer to "What's your sign?".

The calendar is now redrawn. It's all a confused mash-mish.
My wife and bro were Rams although - their birth sign is now the Fish!
My mother was a Virgo - she's now a Leo...please!
But lucky me's now Gemini - instead of a dread disease.

I'm glad I don't believe this stuff - and so is my darling wife.
For if it's fact I'm really whacked - I've lived wrong for my whole life.
And in the Chinese system - the thirteenth will be cruel.
The brand new sign to come on line - will be the "Year Of The Fool"!

Very "up-to-date", astrologocally speaking. I'm not surprised that in 5000 years since the Zodiac was invented, Earth's orbit precessed by a week or so; but the need for a 13th constellation is "out of this world". 555
