The Lyrics

Confused about all that's happened in New Hampshire? State Representative candidate Keith Halloran posted on Facebook that he wished Sarah Palin had died in the plane crash that killed former Senator Ted Stevens. State Senator Tim Horrigan responded that a dead Palin would be much more dangerous than a live one, reasoning that - like other celebrities - she would be more famous in death and unable to make further gaffes. Guess which one was punished. WRONG!! ;D

An N.H. pol was more than snide
On Facebook - wished that Palin died
In the Alaskan airplane crash.
What happened next was just pure trash!

Halloran or Horrigan?
Which one is the lesser man?
Which one did the Dem boss ban?
Well, just you wait and see!

Another pol chimed in to add,
Although a living Sarah's bad,
If dead a legend she'd become
And no more gaffes would from her come!

Halloran or Horrigan?
Who goes free? Who gets the can?
Who's the left wing's new main man?
Well, just you wait and see!

The party boss Governor Lynch
Made his decision, didn't flinch.
'Though the first man was out of line,
The second was forced to resign.

Halloran or Horrigan?
Who's hurt worse since this began?
Did this follow some dark plan?
Well, just you wait and see!

Halloran said he's sorry (not?),
Called it "tempest in their Tea pot."
Horrigan's career's now "finis"
The victim of a "Lynch Party".

Halloran or Horrigan?
Of which one are you a fan?
If neither, then welcome, man!
Come vote for G.O.P.

DKTOS and did not know about this NH situation, so thank you for bringing it to my attention. And for doing it artfully!

Only OMR could have thought of TOS for H&H (I would have searched Irish ballads). When radicalibs want a conservative dead, you know that they fear her. 555!

Wow! I am shocked by that 1 in pacing, I find nothing wrong with this song, but it has been a long time since I've heard The Blue Tail Fly which this song was based. But I guess I am a "softy" too. 555 ;-)
