The Lyrics

Brightly beam big "Gens of Halo"
As cars cruise the freeway nights
No respect for other's vision,
They ignore our roadway rights

Let the lower lights be burning
Cut the gleam, so they won't glare
Pity cataracted seniors..
HIt the dim switch, show you care

Dark of night don't bother young eyes,
Miles away they'll spot a ho
Older eyes squint weak and foggy
Courtesy, you need to show..

Let the lower lights be burning,
Con-trol's on that steering stick
To avoid a tragic head-on..
Only takes one little click..

Back of me, on narrow road lanes,
Flies a thousand watt-ed Ford..
From my rear view, such a white light,
My first thought..."Here comes the Lord!!"

Flip to no glare...on my mirror..
Raise my hand to shield my eye
Pull off to..the right and motion..
"Asshole..you...can go on by!."

Let the lower lights be burning
Have a heart, give us a brake..
Don't tailgate, and use that dim switch,
How much effort can it take?

How much effort can it take?

Sir L'AIR we have swarms of black-eyed immigrants that are not bothered by lazer-Strong head lights; they feel it's their right right to drive with the most light possible, which is dangerous for the blue-eyed Citizenry !

Thanks, LCC, appreciate your vote and comments....The point taken in the parody is not, so much, having bright headlights...but more, their refusal to dim them...If you're a driver, you may notice that lately, very few drivers even engage their dim switch, oncoming, or rear approaching...If they are not black-eyed, as you suggest...it can, often make one wish to supply them with such.

Amen and Hallelujah, brother! (But how can they use the dim switch when they've one hand on the wheel and the other on the phone?) LOL @ last sentence of comment above :)

Gosh darn it! Given your frequent bent recently, was expecting a different type of "high beams", if ya get my drift -- or lower burning -- (Follow-up idea!), but this was TTTBF (too true to be funny). Sorry, no dimming of vote: bright 555.
