I got me a little dreidel
as present for the Christmas
but I don't do Hanukka
so that's a kind of mish-mash

It has some Hebrew letters
which seems so odd and crypto -
they must have secret meaning
at least they look so weird-o

While playing with that dreidel
is for some people holy
it feels a little boring
compared to Monopoly

It's gambling with the pennies
a kind of give and take
But I would prefer poker
to see who gets the stake

My kids they like that dreidel
they love to see it spinning
they like to see it wobble
they just don't care who's winning
