Parody Song Title:

"Battles His Speeches In Public"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

George Bush is hooked on phonics
Speeches fixed on monitors..
Like the kiddies at a day school
For him "Show and Tell" occurs
Even with pronunciations..
He still makes mistakes and slurs..
His goofs go marching on

Lousy....readings...since we...knew ya'
Need more.....speaking....skills ya'..
Phonic....students....would ya'
Your goofs keep marching on..

We've all heard him murder English
In a hundred different ways.
Not as good as Forest Gump could do
Reciting Shakespeare plays
All the late show hosts and comics
Love him, 'cause he makes their days,,
His goofs are marching on..

Once said,....Cheney.....was a.....person..
Proving.....that he.....needs more.....nursin'
No way.....his speech......flubs could....worsen'
His goofs go marching on...

Oh, perhaps we all should chip in
With a dollar or a dime
And send him to a seminar
So his speaking skills could climb..
Or maybe he should learn Charades,
And give a speech in mime..
His goofs go marching on..

Boring, ya'
Really....think ya'?
Wish you...were'd....shoo ya'

Those goofs....keep....marching...on

Excellent! Excellent!! From the super-good title switch to the bouncy sing-along to the TMGLTM. alvin took my first choice, so will cite the Charades/mime couplet. You are a person, no question about it! Vote.... uh, what's that top number again?

Phonics?! He's a proponent of the Awhole Language approach to English. Fine job.

Well done, AFW. I think that W makes more sense than most of his political opponents, but I wish he would learn how to pronounce "nuclear."

AFW, you are very right about everything dealt with in this song. "King George" is a dunderhead, an idiot, a monkey, a "retard" and just about every other not-so-nice name that one can call him. He needs to pronounce "nuclear" correctly, and if he drills for oil or blows up bombs in South Dakota, I'm moving to Canada. 555
