The Lyrics

Toys In The World
Have been recalled
Goodbye Mattel, amen
A warning red,
Contains much lead
It's inside a' Barb and Ken
It's inside a' Barb and Ken
It's i-in, insi-i-ide a' Barb and Ken

Toys In The World
Are being banned
Thousands they won't allow
For Fischer-Price
It's not so nice
Can't Tickle Elmo now
Can't Tickle Elmo now
Can't Ti-ick, can't Ti-i-ickle Elmo now

Does all this mean
No Christmas scene?
For children, nothing found?
Must "Toys R Us"
Hop on the bus?
Won't Santa come around?
Won't Santa come around?
Won't Sa-ant, won't Sa--a-anta come around?

Toys In The World
Are history..
They've all now gone kerplunk!
What next, will be,.. the Tooth Fair-ee?
All Toys are Chinese junk
All Toys are Chinese junk
All Toy-oys, all Toy-oy-oys are Chinese junk..

They've all gone kerplunk? Kerplunk was one of my favorites, and was made by Mattel, too

We all knew Barbie was too hot not to have a few "bugs". If you know what I'm saying.

Barbie and Elmo are morons. Let them amuse themselves in the workshop - or let them play scrabble.

Is it just me, or are children these days really dumb? When I was a kid, we had all sorts of stuff that was dangerous, but we knew enough to handle it properly. I mean, if I had burned myself on my Thingmaker oven, my mother would have told me I was a klutz - it's HOT afterall... today's moms would sue the company... :-P No wonder today's kids all need therapy by age eight - they can't have any fun toys for fear of toxic chemicals and sharp edges. I say bring back dangerous toys and let Darwin rule. Hell, we all ate lead when we were kids and as you can see by our parodies - we're all FINE... ;-D
