The Lyrics

No offense to some good ones, offense to the guy who inspired me to write this.
Oh I'm glad I'm not in the land of Sox fans
Flipped their cars and get curfew bans
Troll away, troll away
Troll away
Red Sox fans

In Boston town they must be smokin'
Come September they'll be chokin'
Troll away, troll away
Troll away
Red Sox fans

Oh I'm glad we ain't no Sox fans
They fight, they fight
Those Red Sox fans can be wild
And won't have any regards
That's right, they fight
They fight just like those drunkards

Oh Ortiz can't hit in December
O for nothing I remember
Eat away eat away
Eat away
La-Z-Boy

They're so bad cars are bakin'
The Iraqis are all shakin'
Drink away, by the way
What a day
Red Sox fans
Sequel coming soon...

Who cares if Ortiz can't hit in December. No one is playing then anyway...

In all fairness, there is a Caribbean Winter League in which Ortiz could hit, or not. Of course, at this rate, he'll hit 300. Pounds. Now, being a fat ballplayer is no crime. Tony Gwynn, Goose Gossage, and, from Boston's own past, Mo Vaughn, the late Rod Beck, and, of course... well, he wasn't fat then... Babe Ruth. Sure, Sox fans might now be singing, "Summertime, and the living is easy." (Or their girlfriends are easy.) But, as the rest of the American League always does, we're singing "See You In September." Oh yeah: Good parody.

December reference came from the fact the other dude mention A-Rod not hitting in November.

A Rod can't hit in November because the Yankees can't make the Series, which stretches into November. But a yankee fan wouldn't be witty enough to get the sly double entendre. BTW, your parody writing reminds me or the Yankees....very poorly paced and rhymed....a clear swing and a miss. Can't wait for the sequel. Keep your mind off the Yankees slide into the cellar -)

Took you awhile to notice the parody. The series stretch into November in 2001 when 9/11 happened, otherwise the furthest it goes is October 31.

Sequel will be on it's way. Hey you're right, there is November but A-Rod hit pretty well while your Red Sox on other hand...
