Parody Song Title:

"Francis Drake the Seadog"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

This is my first parody. It's probably not funny. I'm only ten. My dad is Claude Prez.
You know
Cartier and Magellan, La Salle and De Soto
Coronado and Raleigh, John White and Caboto.
But do you recall
The most feared European of all?
Francis Drake the famous seadog
The best of the English pirates.
When the Spanish saw his ship coming,
They wanted to get away quick.
All of the other seadogs
All looked up at Francis Drake.
Every sailor knew that Francis
Left destruction in his wake.
Then one sunny April morn,
The queen of England came to say,
"For the enemies you slay,
Let me knight you here today."
Oh, how excited he felt
As the queen said solemnly,
"I dub thee Sir Francis Drake."
Then he went down in history!

Not bad for a first parody. Pacing needs some work, otherwise pretty darned good.

Although I'm just a tad biased, I must concur. Way better than I could've done at that age. Now study them spelling words before I beat ya.
