Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

The world is a poorer place without this special creature.
Only you could make some mornings bright
Only you, could reign on Amiright
Only you and you alone
could thrill us like you'd do
and fill our hearts with joy, yes only you....

Only you... could be the Queen for me,
it was true, you brought the best in me
when you spoke your mind
'twas always kind, your magic just came through..
there's no one like you
my one and only you

Only you... could be the Queen for me,
it was true, you brought the best in me
when you spoke your mind
'twas always kind, your magic just came through..
there's no one like you
my one and only you

one and only you...

Farewell my friend.
Malcolm

Very nice, Malcolm. During my relatively recently commenced amiright tenure I didn't "know" Royce at all, but reading the tributary parodies and attendant commentary together with visits to some of ther work convinces me that that's very much my loss.

Stan, Royce was an angel. She was always eager to vote and comment newcomers, and she encouraged me years ago when I first came to amiright, to write (English is my third language, not first). While our political and religioius wiews sometimes collided, we were always good friends. Please visit Royce's page and her parodies, and try singing along some. You will find her spirit in her songs.

Malcolm - This is such a total tear-jerker because I know how close you and Royce were. I know how you feel buddy. I'm there right with you and John Jenkins. Thanks for giving her this tribute. I will make sure that her sister Lynette gets this link. She has to know how much her little sister is missed. God Bless old friend.

Having been MIA, hadn't heard the sad news. Glad I wrote two tributes to Royce while she was still here to read them. Nice one, Malcolm.
