"Blue Statists Always Fail"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

The results of the Wisconsin recall attempt and the San Diego and San Jose referenda were good news for Conservatives. They led me to parody this old Western song in hopes that November's elections will save the USA from the brewing global financial and political calamities. Regarding Democratic ads that praise the record of the past 41 months, I note that "statistics" begins with "statist."
Traders, frightened, falling;
Europe sinned, begins to die.
And the world's killed through debt edging to the sky.

Blue Statists always fail;
Blue goons cut into your knees.
But a Union wail from Resistance
Comes to lift me on this eve's tee-vees. (6/6/12)

Move along, Blue Statists, MoveOn's wrong;
January comes and you'll be on your way.
Until Tea Party treads Mitt's snail,
There'll be Blue Statists who just fail.

Move along, Ms. Maddow's Blues your song;
Soon Mitt Romney comes and you'll have had your say.
Then will Chris Matthews, Ed Schultz flail;
There'll be blue feathers on the rail.

Statists always fail.

In stanza 3, I'd change "January" to "Soon a New Year", "snail" to "tail" and "Statists who just fail" to "Statists' Holy Grail" (universal health care).

I remember the phrase "better red than dead", by wimps who would cave to communism. Now it should read "better red than debt", for dealing with being 15 trillion in the hole.

BJM - Carry on the good fight, slaying the villians with a skillfully wielded funny bone! ;D
