The Lyrics

At yesterday's tribute to John A. Barry's mastery of the SJH genre, "someone" suggested that TT try to catch up in variations on this theme. No way, José, this parody notwithstanding. (v. = "versus", in legal citations and pleadings)

I'd ne'er compete with you
Along that line

You've done two hundred ninety-two
I'm not tryin'
'Twould leave me dyin'

You're AmIRight's chief geek
I'm a silly clown
My chance to top you? Bleak
I'd sooner wear Ms. Obama's gown

I leave this crown to you
I've not your mind

Yuk, yuk, yuk
Do Who/Whom
Nit, pick, nit --
There, their, they're! Look at how
To hapless readers
(But rags on Gates! :) :) :)

The Grammy
For "Screamin' Jay" to you
A toast, sublime!

Excellent addition to the expanding SJH oeuvre, Butt, Ewe may be better sooted to darker, er, recurrent themes!

Thanks, TT. Sady, I'm only at 270, meaning I must inflict another 30 on AIR before I reach my Guinness-garnering (I hope) goal of 300.

John Lomain, thanks.
Jason, thanks!!!!!!
'Reaming Jay: Undoubtedly astute analysis of where my modest talents, if any, might lie... thank ewe for v/c.
John Barry: Hmmm, IIRC, at first the goal was 200; apparently, (I missed it) upon being achieved, it was raised to 300... methinks mesees a trend here... super-congrats when you hit 1000!

270, huh? I *knew* TJC's math was off yesterday. Swuttc, eat *that*! ...j/k --- really not a big deal :-)

It seems this songs being hit hard today. . .and NOT by John Barry???? I'm holding you to that goal John--you know that ;) 5s Tommy.

Indubitably, Sir, I resent any implication that I in anyway am related to this 'Screaming' fellow... and I know my cousin thrice removed 'Sadie Hawkins' and my uncle by royal fiat, 'Scheming Rey' have similar feelings on the subject... I have arranged for an event horizon to greet you on the high side of your three-hundredth iteration, if you dare!

What do I see, another "spell" parody! Spell bounded! I did JAB's and this parody you wrote! 555.

Below Average Dave: thanks... I'm sure John will make it, easily.
Prof. Hawking: No offense intended; in fact, I have spent a good deal of time at the beach studying how string theory relates to the "no-hair theorem" of black holes. As for 300 iterations, I'm ill-iterate.
Christie Marie M: Thank you! It *is* a fun OS -- it's tempting... actually, I have another idea :-) thanks for v/c CMM!
