I put a smell on crew
that ain’t sublime.
It prompts some of them to groan, “Whew!!”
Some are cryin’;
all feel like dyin’.
Because they can’t stand it:
odor that abounds.
Me they’d love to banish
from the van, toss me out on the ground
to kill the smell that grew
worse over time…
not fine!

Worse it grew,
Worse the “Whew!”s,
Worse the “Boo!”s.
The face hue:
green, with frowns.
They gasped for air
as they chastised me,
calling me “clown”
