The Lyrics

My apologies to anyone who's getting annoyed with my constant parodying of this OS. In Nov. 2005, I decided to do 50 takes on it. I posted 10 a day for 5 days. It seemed like a good idead at the time. The first 50 were a piece of cake; the second 50, more of a grind. Then in what seemed like a good idea at the time, I decided to do another 100. This is number 39 of the second 100, leaving 61 to go (the second hundred are always the hardest). I've got 32 in a various stages of completion. To wrap this project up ASAP, I'm gonna finish and post the 32 in batches, rather than submit one here and there, water-torture style. I'll crank out the remaining 29, do them in batches, and that'll be the end of it. Again, my apologies. My motive was perhaps loco, but this project's become like a locomotive--once in motion, it's hard to stop.
I've gotta tell my ewe
I've switched to kine.

I dabbled with a hog, it's true,
But she's fryin',
So, knot I's tyin'
With a gambolin' lambkin,
Out running around.
When they let the rams in,
I disguised myself in wooly down.

Although we fell, I grew
Quite saturnine
O'er time.

I'd loved ewe,
Love was true
But I knew
When that moo, such sweet sound. . .
No longer cared
For my piece of fleece.
I's dairy-bound.

I'll shear 'em,
Our vows and tell my ewe:
"It's now baaaaaarn time."

That's OK, I'll take her :)

May TT make a small contribution to your OCD project? ("obviously competently done") "I Put My Shell On You" (Turtle protects his mate, or mates with his protectee)... yes, I saw the Cheney version, but a Turtle version uses a different meaning of "shell". Had pondered doing it myself once, but don't want to step on your turf, and DKTOS anyway... take it with my complments, Sir.

Thanks, Stephen, Alvin, TT (go for it, Mr. T. As it stands now, three people have parodied "Spell": Michael Pacholek, Rick Duncan, and yours truly).

John, without looking, I'm guessing MP and RD haven't done 100+ versions of it. Always wary of doing songs I DK very well or at all - e.g PA's valid critique of TT MGen, and the as-yet-unaccepted-or-unacceptable "Blinded" parody, so you can ponder it. If you decide not, perhaps I'll make a poor stab, but I'm sure you'd do the concept much more justice.
