This parody was not the LEAST bit off paced. I'm so sicka folks voting one in all categories just because they don't like a parody. I can understand if you vote 1 for funny and overall, but please respect the pacing, for cryin out loud! >:(

I agree that his parody deserves better than triple ones (I give it 433), but it IS off paced - "offend" has more syllables than "send." Also, my dictionary does not show that "ill" is a verb. And the parody would have been better with less repetition.

Hmmm....not voting here. I hate to admit that Millard is right, but for the most part he actually is. The pace isn't totally off, but it's somewhat awkward in several places. Now, I don't care one way or another if a word is a verb, noun, adjective or a jack-a-lope, but "ill" does not WORK here, Michael. Come on, I know you're smart enough to work with that section and find another way to say what you want and make it work at the same time. Sorry, to dump on you, but one of my personal rules for Politically-oriented parody pieces is to make sure it's as clean and sharply written as possible. Of course, my other main rule now is that I generally don't write "joke-y" parodies about Mr.Bush and company anymore. What they are doing does not put me in a joking mood - the consequences are just too serious now. Now, that's only my own POV, so I can't tell you that you have to do it. I just think to do otherwise undermines the force and credibility of whatever you want to say. I realize it's tempting to force a piece about this President just to deal with your frustration, and that's fine...but I implore you to take a little more time and polish it up a little. Well, it's late...I'm saddened and troubled about where things seem to be headed just about everywhere around the globe right now. It's very discouraging to realize that we have over two years more to watch Mr. Bush screw up our Nation and quite a bit of the rest of the world. It wouldn't be so bad if it all just ended when he eventually leaves office, but unfortunatley there is going to be a lot of digging out required to work our way out of the numerous crater-size holes he's put us in. Think "decades"....Over and out... OH...yeah, I noticed you are nearing "1,000" postings here, Michael...Congrats on that accomplishment.
