Song Parodies -> "'Sixteen' Scandal"

Original Song Title:

"Sixteen Candles"

Original Performer:

Roy Orbison

Parody Song Title:

"'Sixteen' Scandal"

Parody Written by:

Guy DiRito

The Lyrics

"The British government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa."
Was the worst day, with the worst say, maybe.
Oh, Do you say so?

"Sixteen" scandal makes a lovely fight,
How they ignite as their cries incite (as their cries incite) (whoa).
Blow up the scandal, they just wish they knew,
For they're all fishing something out the blue (something out the blue).

They're stuck on sixteen (sixteen),
But that's their routine scene.
It's they're pettiness, novelist gull makes them obscene (makes them obscene) (Yo!).

Sixteen scandal and they start their show,
So clever but never with this will it go (with this will it go).

They're stuck on sixteen (sixteen),
But that's their routine scene.
It's their pettiness, novelist gull makes them obscene (makes them obscene) (Yo!),

Sixteen scandal so put up the dough,
However get clever or you will eat crow.
or you will eat crow!!!

I notice that the far left is heard from today with the same parody. "We've Seen Scandals" and as usual there is no chance to comment on anything again which seems to be another 'routine scene'. So anyone who wants to use this space to comment on that parody may do so since this is the same parody only with a slightly different view. And before anyone says that Roy Orbison did not sing this song then please link here: http://display.lyrics.astraweb.com:2000/display.cgi?roy_orbison..unknown..16_candles

First of all, not funny. Second of all, it was Johnny Maestro & the Crests, 1958. Third, it's not the "16 words" that we're concerned about, it's their content: A big fat stinking Bush lie in front of the entire world. Fourth, Bush is such a loser that he won't even eat his own crow, making George Tenet eat it. Fifth, as Chandler would say on "Friends," Bush's big fat lie is not out of the blue, it's right smack in the middle of the blue! Finally, if Roy Orbison were alive today, he'd be just as ashamed as the Dixie Chicks that "the President of the United States" is from his home State of Texas.

Mike - When are you going to take the hint. I don't care about Texas. Say this out loud. Guy is not a native Texan. He doesn't care about Texas. You have to find some other way to get to him. When I asked you to guess where I lived awhile back, if you cared to notice it said where I live, not where I'm from. We already know I live far from Jersey and quite thankful for that as well. Texas does have one good thing going for it. At least the part I live in. It has a decent winter. And I just laugh at you guys up north when you have snow up to your ass in the winter. Let's see now, Jersey has to have something going for it - I know, excellent land fill for New York's garbage.

Lol! This was good. Sorry that Mike stole your parody. I am going to make a parody about you and your parodies. It is not negative, it is just saying how good your parodies are. I love 'em all, but it would take me a couple of hours to comment them. tj out

Thanks, TJ. Be my guest and use my name in any songs you want. I have even written one on myself when I first started writing out here to Inna Godda Da Vida.
