| Parody Song Title: | "Hello To St. Loo" |
| Parody Written by: | Malcolm Higgins |
Just spent five wondrous days in St. Louis. Thank you Broadway Oyster Bar, ( and every democrat in it) for great times, friendship, nice discussion and exchange of philosophies. Thank you top of the riverfront restaurant for the duck and the mushroom strudel. Lafayette Sq., Tha Painted Ladies, Busch Stadium, local architechts for your inner city beauty! Thank you America for being free and friendly. Thank you for being full of beauty and ideas to build the arch and show the world the majesty of the American midwest. Thank you Mississippi for allowing my foot to be caressed by your breatness as you flowed by. Most of All thank you every American! Friends, fighters, keepers of the freedoms we all need to live amazing lives.. GOD BLESS AMERICA!
I took the drive last Wednesday
down the Mississippi way
and ooh I will come back forever more
now I will sing of what I found
a city where my heart just bounds
although I never did meet you before
I said "Hello, to St. Loo.
take my heart
and now, St. Loo
I'm so in love with you
and soon, sweet St.Loo,
we'll never part
yes, Hello to St.Loo
take my heart..
I saw those ships, I saw the square,
and lovely people all were there
and now I'll book more trips for longer stays
the archway shone that moonlit night
at Broadway, we had such delight
that's all I had to see for me to say
I said "Hello, to St. Loo.
take my heart
and now, St. Loo
I'm so in love with you
and soon, sweet St.Loo,
we'll never part
yes, Hello to St.Loo
take my heart..
down the Mississippi way
and ooh I will come back forever more
now I will sing of what I found
a city where my heart just bounds
although I never did meet you before
I said "Hello, to St. Loo.
take my heart
and now, St. Loo
I'm so in love with you
and soon, sweet St.Loo,
we'll never part
yes, Hello to St.Loo
take my heart..
I saw those ships, I saw the square,
and lovely people all were there
and now I'll book more trips for longer stays
the archway shone that moonlit night
at Broadway, we had such delight
that's all I had to see for me to say
I said "Hello, to St. Loo.
take my heart
and now, St. Loo
I'm so in love with you
and soon, sweet St.Loo,
we'll never part
yes, Hello to St.Loo
take my heart..
