The Lyrics

Please―for your own safety, no applause ― 'the Clap' *really* sets me off!
YouTube: Deep In The Heart of Texas
I caught The Clap — then sumthin’ snapped
[*clap*, *clap*, *clap*, *clap*!
Deep in some brain-y nexus

Now ‘Mr. Hyde’ — won’t be denied
[*snap*, *snap*, *snap*, *snap*!]
He’s raising Cain in Texas

These bad brain waves — scream “Shallow Graves!”
[*zap*, *zap*, *zap*, *zap*!]
That’s where you’ll find my ex’s

There’s more in wells — and farmer’s dells
[*nap*, *nap*, *nap*, *nap*!]
And in some burned out Lexus

[~The Break~ (no, *really*, an Actual Break... neck and/or skull)]

A better grip — had Jack the Rip’
[*cap*, *cap*, *cap*, *cap*!]
Least he wern't bouncing checks’s

Nor dressed up he — Like Harry P.
[*fap*, *fap*, *fap*, *fap*!]
Out screamin’ Hogwarts hexes

The law men cry — “Yer gonna die!”
[*crap*, *crap*, *crap*, *crap*!]
They cornered me in Texas

I got shot down — post-mortem found:
[*tap*, *tap*, *tap*, *tap*!]
My genes have fourteen ‘Xs’...
Ten more than Lu-thor, Lex’s!

Love it! Very very clever and very very funny - and gloriously sing-alongable. A definite 555 :^)

Structurally-based psychopathic thanks out to:

*OMR* - Thanks, pardner―I believe I'll take that advice!
*WC* - Once again, yer too kind, lil' lady. Thanks for the V & C. And I agree, those seemingly endless kookie couplets are a mite catchy!

Never saw the Harry Porter films...but funny lines and rhymes

Glad I took a chancre on reading this! What renders this parody above the lesions of daily submissions is that it oozes with unexpected driffs at the endlines, particularly Lexus, checks's, and Lex's. No par(od)esis here! And the subject of your o'pus,"Loco murderer attacks ya' " , a/k/a "Hades' sore malice" may render this parody a neurosyphilitic first!

*AFW* - Thanks. Porter/Potter... love that intoxicating transformation!

*NK,a/k/a SA* - Thank you kind sir, and Wow!! More primo puns per square inch (or is that 'meter'?) than a Soupy Sales monologue...or my entire parody for that matter (nexus kin!)! But, I must insist, it was only the 'clap'—not parodychetes that done me in—well, that and the 13 extra X chromosomes!

... but the n-syph deliberate mis-interred-predation was a more, er, "fruitful" source of puns. ;)

Have one more X-chrome, which makes 15 -- grouped in three sets of 5, of 'course!
