The new US president claims to share laudable traits with Lincoln, FDR and JFK, but several cabinet nominees echo only FDR. They have been or will be confirmed despite glaring skeletons in their closets. The middle section of my parody is about as silly as the OS. In "men" I include the ladies.
The men that you sought to annoint,
I could see through, were all men of em-pink-tion.
New Deal big spenders, they're looking so behind.
Say wouldn't you like to sow the dough when they are combined?
So let me get right to the point:
They won't stop the pork that they can buy for free.
Hey, pig spenders, send a whittled dime to me.
Does Obama have fun?
How's about a few gaffes?
Joe can blow two at a time.
Does Obama have fun in sun...?
How's about a few gaffes for laughs...?
Joe can blow two any time, could rhyme.
Fun, gaffes, two-time!
Nay, big spenders!
Abe, pig spender:
The way that you talk as you point,
I can see you, sir, have standards of diction --
Unreal crowd sender, good looking, sober, kind.
Say wouldn't you like to know I'm going out of my mind?
Since you have the right to appoint,
They won't drop a "Bork" on any nominee.
Racial blender, savior, mender,
Say extending tax cuts now is primary.
I could see through, were all men of em-pink-tion.

By "whittled dime" I mean inflated currency that eventually follows deficit spending, and by "Bork" I refer to the Senate's unfair defamation of Robert Bork. I'm at bjmitchel@att.net for feedback.
