You'd think I'd know the drill by now...if you don't make the Thursday night deadline, you'll have to wait to Monday (or Tuesday) to see your parodies posted. ;D



Missed the weekend deadline -
Too much got in my way.
Now my Friday submission
Won't be online until Monday.

Should have stayed home to work -
Went instead out to play.
Missed the weekend edition -
Won't see my songs until Monday.

I can't force myself - to sit and begin.
I'll be on the shelf - if I don't get dis-ci-pline!

I guess it serves me right
For I caused the delay.
It's my normal condition -
Won't see my songs until Monday.

I work like a slob - although I'm retired.
If this were my job - I cer-tain-ly would get fired!

And it's still worse this time.
Extra delay? I'd say!

Hey, not nice to pick on ChuckyG for *one* instance of missing two consecutive updates, Friday/Monday! :-)

This writer long ago tore the Mondays off of every week of every calendar he's had. It makes life sooo much better! Really! :-D

Thanks. (1) NO criticism of the venerated ChuckyG was stated or implied! (2) I spotted a misspelling in the last line. (3) Yes, ChuckyG did a posting on Labor Day, which was as appreciated as it was not necessary. He deserves holidays too. (4) I'm more than content with things as they are. My parody was poking fun at my procrastination...which I proved again by posting these comments two days late! Glad we aired this out...and by the way, which one of you knuckleheads just farted? lol ;D
