There was always a Pooper Moon
In the door of that shed out back
Just the slice of a lunar pie
To vent our tiny shack..

Used to be a thick catalog
Somewhere next to the hole it'd lay
Sears and Roebuck's soft index page,
Was Charmin of it's day..

There's where we sat
For good regularity
We all used that
Before bathrooms could be..indoors, you see

It was kind of a crude old world
Back before Nineteen Forty-Three
In the midwest, and my hometown,
To function normally..

Half moon cut there
Was for more than decorative,
To draw fresh air..
Circulation to give,
So the user could live...
