The Lyrics

The song I wrote a parody to is a rather disparaging song about the Chinese. Mine is paying a compliment to the Germans. Imagine Weird Al Yankovic performing this.
The USA is totally meshuggah
The religious right just doesn't have a clue
The Don is a wall building megalomaniac
America is going down the loo.

I like Germany
I like Germany
The guys are taller than the trees
They're rough and they're ready and they're busy as bees.

I like Germany
I like Germany
We know they really blew with their World War Two
But, they're really very sorry for that one big boo boo.

I like Germany
I like Germany
It's really far across the sea
But there's beaches and mountains and places to ski.

I like German wine
Boat rides on the Rhine
Think of the many ways they can amuse
Their humor, their music and their point of views.

I like Germans
I like Germans
I love their tiny little vans
Opels and Audis, Volkswagen sedans.

I like German thought
The music Beethoven wrought
If Broadway is anything to shout about
Wagnerian operas surpass it no doubt.

I like Germany
I like Germany
The girls are taller than the trees
They're gorgeous, they're sexy they're ready to please.

Ich mag Deutsches Leben
Ich mag Deutsches Madchen
Ich liebe die ganz Deutschen
Die Sprache, die leute, das ganz Vaterland.

I like German rule
I like German rule
Ms. Merkel is totally cool
She's wise and she's witty and she's nobody's fool.

I like German beer
I like German bars
I like their fancy schmancy cars
Mercedes and Beemers - sehr wunderbar.

I like Germany
I like Germany...

Thanks, BAD. I want to live there. Considering the above comments you would think Germans are still anti Semitic Nazis, but they really have gone the other way. The way things are in the US I want to get out and find some sanity.

In fairness, the leaders of this country were incredibly racist anti semitic homophobes too. . .but even then (in both Germany and America's case) it was never everybody, There were plenty of Germans who were against the Holocaust (Anne Frank's story comes to mind and the many stories of attics being used to hide would be victims), as there were plenty of Americans against slavery (the Underground Railroad). While sadly I have found little evidence that The English settlers had much if any resistance to the government's atrocities known as "The Trail of Tears", I still have hope for people.

A large minority of Germans were opposed to the Nazi regime and the rest realized they had been scammed. Have you read Inside the Third Reich by Albert Speer?

..the real one, this time. Very odd that someone (and I'll bet it's only one person) has decided to pretend to be all these other authors.
