The Lyrics

I come back after 6 years to give you a medley of songs in which i changed the genders to celebrate my recent coming out of the closet. Happy Pride!
Beauty king of only eighteen
He had some trouble with himself
He was always there to help him
He always belonged to someone else

I drove for miles and miles and wound up at your door
I've had you so many times but somehow I want more

I don't mind spending every day
Out on your corner in the pouring rain
Look for the boy with the broken smile
Ask him if he wants to stay awhile
And he will be loved
And he will be loved
---
Cross my heart, hope to die
To my lover I'd never lie
She said, "Be true," I swear, "I'll try."
In the end, it's her and I
She's out her head, I'm out my mind
We got that love; the crazy kind
I am hers, and she is mine
In the end, it's her and I
Her and I
---
Well, he was just seventeen
You know what I mean
And the way he looked was way beyond compare
So how could I dance with another (Ooh)
When I saw him standing there

Well he looked at me, and I, I could see
That before too long I'd fall in love with him
He wouldn't dance with another (Whooh)
When I saw him standing there

Well, my heart went "boom"
When I crossed that room
And I held his hand in mine
---
I like big girls, itty bitty girls
Mississippi girls, inner city girls
I like the pretty girls with the bow tie
Get your nails did, let it blow dry
I like a lil hair, I like a clean face
I don't discriminate, come and get a taste
From the playgirls to the gay girls
Go and slay girls, you my fave girls
---
Boys! All I really want is boys
And in the morning it's boys
'Cause in the evening it's boys
---
I'm not a boy,
Not yet a woman.
All I need is time,
A moment that is mine,
While I'm in between
---
Oh, oh, oh, go totally crazy-maybe I'm a lady
Men's shirts-short skirts
Oh, oh, oh, really go wild-yeah, doin' it in style
Oh, oh, oh, get in the action-feel the attraction
Color my hair-do what I dare
Oh, oh, oh, I wanna be free-yeah, to feel the way I feel
Man! I'm almost a woman!

It might have helped to list the original songs in the footnotes. I could recognize "Seventeen" by the Beatles and Shania Twain's "Man, I Feel Like A Woman", but I'm not familiar with the others. Or at least I don't immediately grasp the melody to use. Love songs from another perspective.
