Parody Song Title:

"Scammed Drivers"

Parody Written by:

John A. Barry

The Lyrics

Scammed drivers. Crime called, now they face
for diesel depredations, disgrace.
Nitrous oxide meted; motors raced.
Scammed drivers. . .a class-action case.

Scammed drivers—rigged the rigs they bought—
the “cooled” emissions turned out to be hot.
The atmosphere and confidence were shot.
Scammed drivers—rigged the heaps they bought.

Scammed drivers; knew that they could beat
emissions controls and did, toute de suite.
But they got caught, and that brought on the heat.
Scammed drivers. . .now in the hot seat.

Scammed drivers are getting real sore,
but what are the options they can explore?
If even in a class action they score,
swag shysters will take most, and more.

Scammed drivers, yet they don’t atone
to drivers who now one of their heaps own,
and left them sitting on their own, alone.
Scammed drivers’ main option: to moan.
