The Lyrics

The US president hosted 150 selected doctors for a photo-op and speech reviving universal medical insurance bills languishing in Congress. Many came in street dress, so the staff passed out white coats to these members of Doctors for America, formerly Doctors for Obama in 2008. The OS portrayed a stood-up lover at a prom.
A white lab coat, fancy decoration
O'er Fall best, up for his glance.
A white lab coat, hand-out preparation
For public option's last chance.

Once he told us months ago,
It would bomb, the Right would crow.
Now he's changed his mind, it seems;
Senate has still bolder schemes.

A white lab coat stands for 'Bamanation,
I'm in a blue, blue brood.

[Timed interlude include]

In flight, House wrote frantic legislation;
They all pressed upward on "can't"s.
The Right would vote, banning regulation;
They're all alone in "no" stance.

This we learned so long ago:
"Do no harm" makes budgets grow.
Now that's changed to blind test themes;
Someone else withholds your dreams.

A white lab coat hands Obama nation,
I'm such a true blue dude.

[Rhymed interview conclude]

A white lab coat and a pinkO nation --
I'm all dressed up at White Manse.
A white lab coat and a pink Oration
For ailing health care like France.
Now the Senate leader threatens to use the reconciliation process, needing only 51 votes, to pass a joint bill.

Update! Perhaps President Obama will now also win the Nobel Prize for Medicine for his health care plans. ;D

OMR, they were real, but not typical, doctors. I just left a comment, similar to your second one, on your Olympics parody of 10/7.

Ah, the all-important image... Perception is reality/Reality is perception, etc. Nice work on the paro-doc-umentary!

That was the funniest incident of O. trying to pull the wool over our eyes. :)

You picked a perfect OS and the rhyming was very good. 5's
