The Lyrics

Suppose nobody ever named this bird "Robin".
When the tur, tur, turdus migrator, tor torius comes to town
There'll be springtime opus of birdie chorus for miles around
Light up, light up you work too hard
Look up, look up in your back yard
Enjoy, enjoy the ruddy birds
Dec - O - rating the treetops.

It was ten below, I was feelin' low
Ever shovelin' snow
Now it's warm and the birdies swarm
And roost on the bough
Singing so merrily while I'm forever - ly
Hosing off poo
When the bird, bird birdie named turdus flies through.

Thanks, Paul. Sometimes Burbank gets swarms of robins in the late winter and, because they eat worms, they are very messy.
